A Timeline of Excellence
1950s - Artisan Beginnings (Italy) – Founded by master baker Nevino Bernardelli, focused on tradition and craftsmanship.
1960s - Expanding Horizons (Italy) – Breadsticks joined by rusk production, marking evolution to Grissin Bon.
1980s - Iconic Fagolosi® (Italy) – Launch of Fagolosi®, followed by Fornarelli®, leFrescheBiscottate®, and MiniFagolosi®.
2015 - Phase 1: Plain Breadsticks (Canada) – Introduction of plain breadsticks, establishing Grissin Bon in North America.
Modern Era
Global Growth & Quality – 6 production plants (5 Italy, 1 Canada), BRC, IFS, BIO, FDA certified, led by the third-generation Bernardelli family.
2020 - Phase 2: Pretzels (Canada) – Expansion to pretzels, adding variety while maintaining artisanal quality.
2024 - Phase 3: Flavoured Products (Canada) – Launch of Grissin Bites and flavoured crackers, creating a diverse snack portfolio.
